Orange and Gray: content journalist

I create tailored blogs, newsletters, and press releases for Orange and Gray's US-based clients, which has led to national coverage on NBC News, along with visibility in local media.

October 2019 – ongoing

Mancunian Matters: journalist, photographer

My reporting for MM has covered China’s UK presence, election protests, the homeless pandemic and responses to gentrification, underpinned by frequent use of FOI requests.

Byline Times: freelance journalist

I wrote for Byline Times about the changes to online relationships during the UK's lockdown – interviewing experts, dating website CEOs and app users.

Viva Magazine, Now Then & Pink Wafer: freelance journalist

As a freelancer at Viva Magazine, Now Then and Pink Wafer, I wrote interview-based feature articles on Manchester’s restaurant scene, artisanal producers and touring musicians.

October 2018 – May 2019

Scandinavia Standard: journalist, photographer

For lifestyle publication Scandinavia Standard, I created arts and human-interest features, founded an interview series on Nordic nightlife, “Live from Copenhagen”, and wrote listicles.

Globuzzer: writer, editor, photographer

At social networking platform Globuzzer, I edited junior writers’ work, wrote events based SEO articles and established an interview series on expats’ life stories, "Passage to Denmark".

As a freelancer in Copenhagen, I authored market content for One World Music, a record label promoting cross-cultural dialogue, and Brøl, a brewery addressing the food-waste crisis.

At daily newspaper The Copenhagen Post, I contributed local reports, features and cover stories. I also worked overseas, covering landmark events in Jerusalem during March 2018.

Coll Collective: columnist

Coll Collective is a group of musicians and singers who create classical music concerts. I contribute written content to the group, which is read by its online audiences.

I founded Immersive Reviews, a website publishing social depictions of public places and private venues. My inspiration for the site comes from my academic background in anthropology.
